Cork & Crumb Cellars

For years, these wines were made in small quantities and shared privately among family and friends. Bottles were opened without occasion, poured alongside home-cooked meals, and finished long before anyone thought to take notes. The focus was never on perfection, but on presence — wine as part of the table, not the centerpiece of it.

Cork & Crumb Cellars began the way many meaningful things do — not as a business, but as a habit.

A Central Coast Winery story

About Cork & Crumb Cellars, a family winery.

You won’t find a traditional tasting room here. Instead, our wines are poured where they’ve always belonged — in neighborhood wine bars, restaurants, and gathering spaces that value connection as much as what’s in the glass.

Cork & Crumb is not about trends or grand statements. It’s about the small moments that happen when food is passed, glasses are refilled, and conversation lingers just a little longer.

From our table to yours — welcome.

Today, we continue to produce limited-release wines from sustainably farmed California vineyards, working closely with growers who prioritize soil health, responsible water use, and long-term stewardship of the land. Our approach is simple and intentional: start with thoughtful farming, handle the fruit gently, and let the wines speak without unnecessary intervention.

As interest grew beyond those original gatherings, Cork & Crumb quietly opened its cellar to the public.

With over a decade working in cool-climate California regions, Sophie believes great wine is shaped long before harvest. Her approach blends precision with intuition, focusing on vineyard expression over heavy-handed techniques.
